DIET: NOT JUST ANOTHER 4-LETTER WORD
With shorts and swimwear prominently displayed in every store, you probably know many people who are "on a diet" to get ready for summer. You may even know people, or are one yourself, who try different "diets" every few months to drop some pounds. Think of your body as a car and food as gasoline. Food is our fuel. It's what we use to create energy. We have to give our bodies exactly what they need to operate in the best possible way. Just as you wouldn't put diesel fuel in a car that didn't need it, you shouldn't give your body food it can't process correctly. Once you start actively thinking about the food you're putting into your body and why, you'll see the results you want to see. You have to be proactive about changing your lifestyle in order for long-term results to emerge.
